BEDMINSTER, February 27, 2014 – A group of HISPA staff and volunteers joined with middle school students from our HISPA Role Model Program partner schools to participate in the annual HACEMOS High Technology Day at three AT&T locations. HACEMOS, the AT&T Hispanic/Latino Employee Resource Group (ERG), hosted its 16th annual event for 1900 students at 31 sites in the U.S. and Puerto Rico.
Hunterdon Hispanos and the Hispanic Professionals Business Solutions group invite the community to attend a traditional Pig Roast at Peaceful Valley Orchard on Sept. 10 from 2-7 p.m. to raise funds and awareness for the HISPA role model program. To learn more about HISPA, visit hispa.org.

Business and community leaders provide mentors for Latino youth

PRINCETON – Javier Lizarzaburu Araujo, an Ecuadorian inventor and entrepreneur who has created a new concept of the game of chess, will speak and offer a hands-on presentation on Friday, Feb. 12, 6 - 8 p.m. The event is part of a series to promote Latino talent in Research, Development and Innovation.
NSHMBA-New Jersey held its annual employeeresource group (ERG) event on September 23rd at the Verizon HQ. Opening remarks were made by Fred Jenkins, Verizon’s Director of Diversity Management Group. The Keynote speech was made by NSHMBA Interim CEO, Steve Ramos followed by a multi-sponsor panel discussion facilitated by Moises Modesto, Verizon’s Manager of the Diversity Management Group.
