HISPA hosted the 2009 Three Kings Banquet in the Seabra’s Armory this past Saturday. Guests included AT&T’s HACEMOS, MERCK’s MHO, CHUBB’s CHLEN, NSHMBA NJ, Microsoft HOLA, USHAA and the Latino Leadership Alliance of NJ. Their presence reinforced the theme of the night: “Celebrating the Impact of our Collaboration”. During the event, HISPA’s President, Dr. Diaz-Claisse, recognized how professionals from all these organizations have come together to inspire students’ academic performance and achievement. “Like the Three Kings brought presents to a child, we bring a treasure to the students we visit, our stories. By SHARING our personal backgrounds we INSPIRE them with our stories and we are committed to TRANSFORMING their future”.
HISPA announced that the “Three Kings Banquet” will be their annual fundraising event and invited all the guests to recruit other professionals within their companies in an effort to continue to growth the HISPA Role Model Bureau.
