Honoring Our Stories, Building America’s Future

PSEG Foundation, Adelante and HISPA Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month

Newark, NJ, October 20, 2015 – The PSEG Foundation and PSEG’s Hispanic/Latino Employee Business Resource Group Adelante will celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month by hosting the HISPA Role Model Program Kick-Off and Recruiting Event on Tuesday, October 20 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at PSEG’s Corporate Headquarters in Newark, N.J. The event, themed “Honoring Our Stories, Building America’s Future,” will bring together Latino professionals dedicated to inspiring our youth, including leaders from HISPA and Adelante as well as those from academia, government, corporate and non-profit sectors. CoolSpeak will present HISPA’s Role Model training program “Know Your Role, Model the Change” prior to the kick-off event.

Hispanic University Students and NY/NJ Professionals Inspire Students to “Take Action! Achieve their Dreams”

Celebrating Educational Achievement during Hispanic Heritage Month
Oct. 7, 2015 – In recognition of Hispanic Heritage Month, members of the Columbia University chapter of the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) and Hispanics Inspiring Students’ Performance and Achievement (HISPA) will host a day-long Youth Conference at Columbia University with the theme “Take Action, Achieve Your Dreams.” Columbia SHPE members and HISPA Role Models including members of the ESPN Latino / Hispanic Employee Resource Group (ERG) Goal!, will serve as role models, sharing their educational and professional journeys with middle and high school students while participating in hands-on workshops.
