June 3 Conference to Focus on College and STEM Career Opportunities, Will Feature Alfredo Ayala, Named One of Tech’s Most influential Latinos
Princeton, NJ, June 1, 2016 — HISPA (Hispanics Inspiring Students’ Performance and Achievement) will unite Hispanic mentors with 150 New Jersey students from Elizabeth, Perth Amboy and Summit at Princeton University for a youth conference themed “Take Action! Achieve Your Dreams” on Friday, June 3 from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Co-sponsored by the Office of Human Resources at Princeton University and co-hosted by Verizon and the Verizon Hispanic Support Organization (HSO), HISPA’s 19th youth conference will emphasize the importance of continuing education and will introduce students to campus life and careers open to college graduates.
