UPCOMING EVENTS

HISPA hosts multiple events throughout the year, from volunteer recruitment events to our annual benefit gala.

Many Hispanics have high aspirations but doubt their abilities: nearly 90% say college is important to success yet only half—48%—plan to enroll. Unless our students believe they can succeed, they are at an increased risk of dropping out.

Indeed, the Pew Research Center reported in 2015 that 12% of the 18- to 24-year-old Hispanic population has dropped out of high school, compared with 7% of Black, 5% of White, and 1% of their Asian peers.

Help make educational equality a reality.

OUR PROGRAMS

HISPA programs provide students with a variety of informative and inspirational events throughout the school year.

Our Role Models share their success stories in predominantly low-income, public middle schools in which Hispanics are the majority.
Hundreds of students and role models unite on a university campus to explore futures in STEM.
Guided by HISPA Role Models, students explore career options at our sponsors’ headquarters.
