HISPA Role Model Reception

ABOUT THE HISPA NEW JERSEY 2018 YOUTH CONFERENCE
HISPA Role Models and New Jersey, New York City and Pennsylvania-area professionals are invited to our New Jersey 2018 Youth Conference on Friday, June 8 from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and following Role Model Reception from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Co-sponsored by the Office of Human Resources, Princeton University, this year’s conference is expected to gather 150 7th and 8th grade students from Elizabeth, Perth Amboy and Summit, NJ. The conference will provide them the unique opportunity to visit a university campus, hear from inspirational speakers, and participate in hands-on workshops designed by professional organizations, university staff and supporting corporations.
Conference is sold out!.
Each volunteer will be assigned a task for the day, such as acting as a role model for students, welcoming attendees as they enter, guiding students to their desired destinations, serving as leader or assistant during a workshop and supporting any special needs that students might have during the day.
Breakfast and lunch will be provided for all volunteers.
Afterwards, join us for the Role Model Reception, a unique networking event open to all professionals who supported the conference throughout the day, joining our efforts to SHARE, INSPIRE and TRANSFORM.

1:30 PM: Closing Session & Inspirational Address
2:30 PM: End of Conference & Student Dismissal
