HISPA President to be Inducted into New Jersey Women’s Hall of Fame

We are proud to announce that our President Ivonne Díaz-Claisse, PhD will be honored as one of the Class of 2014 to be inducted into the New Jersey Women’s Hall of Fame, presented by the YWCA of Trenton. The Induction Gala will take place on Thursday, March 20, 2014 at The Westin Princeton.

Dr. Díaz-Claisse and the other inductees into the New Jersey Women’s Hall of Fame are women who “have made invaluable contributions to society, have elevated the status of women, have made enduring contributions to their fields of endeavor, have inspired others by their example, and have embodied the YWCA’s mission of eliminating racism and empowering women within their own lives and communities.” This honor is certainly a reflection of Dr. Díaz-Claisse’s many accomplishments in her career in the corporate and non-profit sectors as well as her tireless dedication to HISPA’s mission to inspire Latino students to pursue higher education and achieve their dreams.
