He worked for 5 year as project management director and creative director of Lemonk Group; a design and photography agency. He was primarily responsible and accountable for all components of every project that entails logos, graphic and website design, social media, illustrations and much more.
At the age of 20 Mauricio moved from Bogotá Colombia to the United States of America. Upon his arrival he immediately completed an ESL program that allowed him to enroll to Seton Hall University where he received his Bachelors in Communications in the field of Graphic Design in 2005. Upon graduation he enrolled to the School of Visual Arts in New Your City to further his known passion for photography.
From that moment on, Mauricio and his brother decided to open their own establishment, Lemonk Group. This gave Mauricio the opportunity to freely explore all the creative aspects of design with no boundaries or limits.
Mauricio has studied in Argentina and Colombia along the way, always exploring cultures and new technologies in communications and graphic sciences
Mauricio thinks, “If you are passionate about any subject no matter what it is, you can turn it into your career. It is important to find the right path and the right people to make it happen. Life is about following your instinct and abilities, projecting it to the present.”
