Melisa Spagnoli joined HISPA in October 2019 as the Role Model Program Manager,
managing the coordination of 27 schools (located in NJ, NY, PA, and TX) and around 600
Role Model visits per year.
Born and raised in Argentina, Melisa got married and relocated to the United States 17
years ago, following her husband’s dream of doing an MBA. Taking advantage of the
situation she decided to explore different fields and start an international career. Melisa has
held various roles in Office Administration, Education, and non-profit organizations. Melisa
lived in cities such as London, Seoul, Tokyo, Miami, and New York, and being exposed to
different cultures made her step out of her comfort zone, learn new languages, make new
friends, improve her communication skills, and most importantly realize that despite our
differences we are all the same.
Once settled back in the USA she followed her heart and desire to help others by joining a
non-profit, HISPA.
Melisa has studied in Hospitality Management and Foreign Languages and during her spare
time she enjoys traveling, spending time with her family, and going to the gym.
